Inlaid, Beveled, and Sculpted All In One

Here is an example of an Inlaid, beveled, and sculpted, all in one! The Cream rose was inlaid into the black plush pile carpet. On the petals of the rose, both Sculpting and beveling, were used to create a height difference and to create depth. It was not a very large rug but it was perfect for the space the client had in mind.

A very plush, thick, and dense pile carpet was used here and it does have the most desired effect. The shorter the pile, the less depth and definition you will see.

For Christmas one year, a friend was giving their daughter's room a make over, and asked me to make something special with all the new colors, not too big, just for a reading corner. It just happened that I had almost all the colors in my stock, so away I went to creating the perfect preteen rug! They were thrilled, their daughter loved it and it is one of her favorite places in her room!

On-Site, working with you.

This job took 3 days to complete, it was so large I had to create it in place. All the corners where the border material meets, needed to look the same. Each window was slightly different in length, and the angles were not the same for all 3 windows. The Field of this rug was so large, the carpet only came 12 ft wide, so there are 3 seams going across to make the length. All the surging on the corners where the border meets, are hand sewn back together with the original yarn material of the border. When it was complete it was perfect and exactly what the client was looking for!

Circles, circles every where, I had so much fun making this rug! Everyone of the circles you see were cut out and inlaid into the tan field of this rug . The largest circle is 3ft and the smallest is 4 inches.
